C3 Guidelines

C3 Application

C3 Grant Budget Template

The C3 Grant Program is designed to enhance Jackson’s creative community through partnerships that promote vibrancy in the arts and creative education. Preference will be given to initiatives that address one or more of the following:

Artists-in-Residence- residency programs that encourage the creation, presentation and sharing of art through interdisciplinary exploration and collaborative community engagement. Residencies provide the time and space for artists of all disciplines to develop new work and ideas, to share their knowledge and artistic insights with our community, and to embrace the uniqueness of Jackson.

Creative Education- these programs, for all ages, will encourage interdisciplinary approaches to teaching, learning and experiencing the arts, which in turn supports creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. There is a need and desire for innovative education for children, artists and creative leaders.

All applicants must be a 501(c)3 designated organization, or be fiscally sponsored by one. At least one applicant organization must have a mission that promotes culture or the arts in Jackson Hole. A 1:1 cash match is required for all projects.

Creativity Grants – Arts for All

Working in close strategic partnership with the Cultural Council of Jackson Hole (CCJH), Center of Wonder provides Creativity Grants to catalyze creativity, recognize creative leaders and support artistic expression. These are smaller grants, most under $2,500, that are awarded to artists and individuals. We also work with the CCJH to support the yearly Awards for Creativity, given to community-nominated individuals who help to further our vibrant creative culture.

Dancers’ Workshop

“Center of Wonder is not just a funder for us. They are true collaborators. They work closely with us in the planning process and make it possible for Dancers’ Workshop to dream. Their commitment and support is unparalleled by any other organization in this community. This support leads the way for us to be able to say YES! to projects, because we know we have a foundation to start from.”

Teton ArtLab

“With Center of Wonder’s support, the Teton ArtLab has been able to offer 14 fellowships to visiting artists from 3 countries and 9 states in the last year.  These fellowships cover private room, studio, and artist stipends for 1 month each.  The cross cultural exchange these artists have had with our community has been incredibly important to the growth of our culture, connecting our region with the rest of the international art community.”
